YAIR FELD, MD, PhD
Dr. Yair Feld completed his first degree in Physics from the University of Tel Aviv. He later received his MD from the Ruth & Bruch Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel and pursued his PhD at the same institute.
During this period he founded CorAssist cardiovascular that develops a novel device for heart failure with preserve ejection fraction that is currently being evaluated in a clinical trial. Dr. Feld completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus as well as a Cardiology fellowship at the same institution. During this period he founded Paragate Medical that develops a dedicated device for fluids removal in patients with heart failure and diuretic resistance.
He then spent a two-year fellowship in Interventional cardiology at Sunnybrook, Toronto (part of the University of Toronto). He then founded Cuspa medical that develops a new device for valvular diseases.
Currently, he holds the position of senior structural and interventional cardiologist, head of Rambam innovation center and assistant professor at the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine.
